Network For Rural Development Or Open Space

“Ingenuity, plus courage, plus work, equals miracles.”

- Bob Richards, the "Vaulting Vicar" as he was known in his competitive days, the Rev. Robert Eugene "Bob" Richards (born February 20, 1926, Champaign, Ill.) was a versatile athlete who made three Olympic teams in two events.

The Connecticut Rural Development Council (CRDC) is a partnership organization formed by the State of Connecticut and the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture in 1994. It has representatives of local, state and federal government, regional organizations, non-profits as well as private sector and tribal partners. CRDC is linked to similar organizations in other states through the National Rural Development Partnership office in Washington, D.C., and through a National Rural Development Council comprised of federal agency representatives.

For an informative search site (access municipalities, work force development, land use agencies, and more), see the CRDC site.
