Spring Turkey Season Opens April 25

Connecticut spring wild turkey hunting season runs from April 25 to May 26.

Hunting is permitted a half hour before sunrise until noon each day, except on the designated junior hunter training days when the hunting hours have been extended until 5 p.m.

All harvested turkeys must be tagged immediately and reported within 24 hours to the DEEP on-line at www.ct.gov/dep/hunting or by calling (877) 337-4868.
