Old Mills, Waterpower, Land Care



The evidence of waterpower used by industry still remains for walkers and those curious about the past to discover. "Harnessing the Waterways: The History of Dams in Middletown" will be presented on Thursday, Nov. 8, 7 p.m. by Wesleyan Associate Professor of Philosophy Elise Springer, who did research in the Middlesex County Historical Society's archives. Co-sponsored by the Jonas Center for Earth and Art, the talk will be held at First Church of Christ Congregational, 190 Court St., Middletown.
