Connecticut 4-H Dairy & Beef Day

The Connecticut 4-H Dairy & Beef Day is Saturday, March 19, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Storrs. One-day event for 4-H members and volunteers to enhance their knowledge and skills related to the dairy and beef project areas.

The morning program will focus on animal welfare. For the afternoon segment, participants will visit the animal units for project specific workshops. More information available at www.4-H.uconn.edu.

Admission is free to the 4-H Fair Weekend at the fairgrounds in Durham, this weekend, Aug. 7, 8, 9. (Parking is $5.)
