Members of the New England Lace Group (NELG) promote the "making, collecting and study of all laces through the New England area of the U.S."
The nimble fingers of Gail MacLean deomnstrated the beauty of making lace at the Connecticut Sheep, Wool & Fiber Festival.
Topics include tatting, netting, bobbin or hairpin lace and sponsored events plus workshops.
Meetings are held from September to June on the third Saturday of the month at the Joshua Hyde Public Library, Sturbridge, Mass. The library is located at 306 Main St. Meetings begin at 11 a.m.
