Pilgrimage
One photo from a stack of albums chock-full of images, found in an old bookshop. I drove back to get the one I left behind. They sat for years until I found the numerous captions intriguing and started linking things together - about the woman in many of the photos and her travels.
Then one day, I wrote to a historical society in Vermont and made the trek to learn more.
