Events At The Holcomb Farm

The Holcomb Farm in West Granby, continues its life as a working farm, complete with livestock, but it is also a non-profit resource available to the public.

Holcomb Farm is committed to preserving the expansive green spaces for which the state is known, and dedicated to offering programs that honor community, agriculture and education.

In March, don't miss Conservation Heroes Lecture, The Reverend Milne and the Conservation Roots of CFPA, Tuesday, March 9, 7 p.m. Free.

Professional Landscape Designers

Brid Craddock of Growing Solutions LLC in Ridgefield is president of the new Connecticut chapter of the Association of Professional Landscape Designers (APLD).

The association, formed in 1989, is dedicated to promoting and supporting the highly qualified professional landscape designer. Connecticut currently has nearly 50 members.
