Dr. Shawn Robinson of the St. Andrews, New Brunswick Biological Station and the University of New Brunswick and Nova Scotia Agricultural College is the featured speaker on Wednesday, Aug. 24, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Wells Conference Center, University of Maine.
The event is sponsored by Northeast Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education (NESARE).
Dr. Robinson will speak on the benefits of a method which recycles waste from one species as fertilizer or food for another species and is part of an Institute Open Day at the University of Maine, Aquaculture Research Institute.
