Farming, Get Started Or Grow

"Getting Started in Organic Farming" is  a CT NOFA event on Saturday, Jan. 28,  at Connecticut Forest & Park Association headquarters, Route 66, Rockfall.

Co-sponsored by CT NOFA, UConn and RMA, speakers and topics include "Planning for Profits, The Basics of a Farm Business Plan" with Dina Brewster, The Hickories in Ridgefield; "Greenhouses" with Shannon Raider, Common Ground High School, New Haven; "Land Access and Leasing," Jiff Martin & Jennifer McTiernan, UConn Extension.

Registration is $40 and a food refreshment contribution for the potluck is requested.
