Llamas are gentle, inquisitive animals that produce a soft and lovely fiber used for knitting, weaving and more.Now your children can meet one up close and learn more about them. Two programs for 30 children each will be presented Saturday, June 23 at the Russell Library in Middletown, when Debbie Elias of Country Quilt Llama Farm and one of her llamas visit.
The first session is 10 to 10:45 a.m.; second, 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Best for ages 3 to 8.
