Ever dream of keeping bees? Here's your chance to meet a beekeeper on Tuesday, Sept. 25, 7 p.m., in Killingworth, Connecticut.
Whether
you want to sample the bees' honey, provide pollinators for native
plants, help save the decreasing bee population, or just enjoy watching
the flight to and from the hive, Ned Farrell of The Bee Happy Co. will
show how easy it is to start a honeybee hive.
A beekeeper with more than 20 years experience, he owns and operates The
Bee Happy Co. with his wife, Sharyn.
Raw unpasteurized
honey, all-natural beeswax lip balm, rolled beeswax candles and Bee
Happy Honey Gift Baskets will be offered for sale after a
question-and-answer session.
Depending on audience
size, the presentation will be held at either the library or the
