CSA Teams Up With Country Fair

A CSA Fair is part of a CT NOFA project "CSAs, Community Farms, and Specialty Crops" that is funded by the Specialty Crop Block Grant Program of the USDA and administered by the Connecticut Department of Agriculture.

Based on NOFA-NY’s successful CSA program which organizes fairs where farmers have tables and information about their farm and CSA to interact directly with consumers interested in CSAs, check it out on Sunday, Oct. 7, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Willimantic Food Coop in conjunction with the Downtown Country Fair, an annual celebration of local crafts, farmers, musicians, artists and food. Free and the public is welcome.

 Farmers are asked to pre-register to participate and pay a $25 registration fee that all vendors pay to attend the country fair.
