CT Sheep, Wool And Fiber Festival
The 102nd Annual Connecticut Sheep, Wool & Fiber Festival is Saturday, April 30, rain or shine, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tolland Agricultural Center, Route 30, Vernon/Rockville.
Yarn, roving, sheep, exhibits, shearing and spinning demonstrations. Fleece sale, educational lectures; wool skirting, sheep dog trial, fleece to shawl contest, kids’ corner, knitting instruction, food, vendors, festival logo shirts, music, family fun. Kevin Woolam and Cathy Andresen co-chair the annual event.

We Love Vermont Sheep and Wool Festival
Vermont Sheep and Wool Festival, Tunbridge, Vermont is this weekend, Oct. 3 and 4. Fiber lovers rejoice - there's tons of yarns, knitters, spinners, plus related vendors - and sheep dog demonstrations. Arrive early to get your pick of the roving and raw fleece.
Sheep, alpacas, angora rabbits, goats, and llamas too - plus spinning wheels, needle felting, ideas to last a whole winter long.
